Adjudication
The statutory right to adjudication has changed the face of construction disputes. It provides an accelerated mechanism for dealing with disputes within a 28 day period. Considerable experience in preparing the Referral or Response and related documents is therefore required to manage an adjudication effectively. A current knowledge of adjudication law is essential.
Our consultants are experienced construction personnel who understand the issues that typically result in adjudication proceedings and how to deal with them. Some are legally qualified and are able to manage any issue that might arise, however complex. Where we believe that the client would benefit from or requires the advice or input of a solicitor we are able to provide names of suitable firms for consideration. Where appropriate, we can instruct barristers directly without the services of a solicitor.
Our senior people will also accept an appointment as adjudicator if they are available and can commit to the short time-scales involved.
Clients are reassured that their issue is in the hands of people with the requisite experience, skills, knowledge, judgement and qualifications needed to steer matters through a rapid adjudication process.
