Staff Development & Training - APC Successes

As part of Riley Consulting's continual investment in staff training and development, we are delighted to announce that the following staff have been awarded their Chartered status:

The in-house funded training programme is supported by active Partner/Director participation to help guide APC candidates through their training period and final interview process.

The programme covers all core competencies and relevant optional competencies.  The basis of this programme is candidate research and presentations to their peers on specific topics relevant to their training.  This is supervised by senior members of staff to critique the presentations and ensure the content covers all the necessary areas for the candidates training needs.  Mock questions are set, along with mock interviews to ensure the candidates are provided with correct level of support prior to their final assessment.

Training days are organised to allow the candidates to benefit from in-house expertise and external specialists on specific topics pertinent to the APC training guide.  This is a companywide initiative with all offices across the UK utilising a video conference call to ensure all office locations benefit from a consistent training programme. 

This coupled with the provision of a counsellor and supervisor who will endeavour to ensure the candidate gets the correct level of project experience to be in the best position to pass their APC.

We have found this approach to be extremely effective this year with a 100% pass rate from the November 2011 sitting and would like to congratulate the candidates in achieving their Chartered status.
