Redevelopment of PET Centre, St Thomas' Hospital
Henry Riley is delighted to be appointed to provide cost consultancy services for the redevelopment of the PET (Positron Emission Tomography) centre at St. Thomas' Hospital, Westminster.
This is a phased project and includes:
- Conversion of existing clinic facilities, installation of new clinical PET scanners and PET MRI scanners including associated patient facilities, preparation waiting rooms and recovery areas, scanner rooms, control facilities, hot labs, reception and administration areas.
- The second phase involves the redevelopment of the existing PET facility at lower ground level to provide a PET radio pharmacy and production area including the construction of a concrete vault to contain the cyclotron.
