University College London Hospitals - EGA Wing, Medical Physics Relocation

The UCLH estate comprises 6 hospital sites throughout London and extends to circa 245,000m2. The trust is continually managing and investing in its capital estate and assets to develop and improve its services.
Project Description:
The medical physics department relocation to the EGA Wing was successfully managed by Henry Riley. The project required close consultation with the users to ensure that the new space conformed not only to their requirements but also to the NHS space standards and specification. An existing void space within a new PFI hospital has been fitted out to comprise space for the various departments together with offices, workshops and laboratories. Toilets, storage and staff facilities have also been provided.
Management of the equipment groups was also essential to ensure that the procurement department had sufficient funds to procure new equipment.
