The Junction is a specialist retail park fund, owning five retail parks, one development site and one non-core industrial property. Their aim is to deliver a service that adds value to their tenants by creating safe, clean and well managed facilities.
Project Description
Cambridge Close Retail Park, Aylesbury
The Cambridge Close Retail Park project involved the construction of approx 20,000 sq ft of mixed retail and luxury residential flats. Tenants including;
- Carphone Warehouse
- Frankie and Benny's
- Bathstore
- KFC
- Subway
We were also appointed as client representative under the phase 2 scope of works for the 45,000 sq ft new build shell and core fit out for Wickes Building Supplies Ltd within the Cambridge Close Retail Park.
Morfa Retail Park, Swansea
We were appointed to manage the landlords alteration works for The Junction's proposed tenant DSGi.
A new tenancy was under negotiation between the parties to utilise 3nr existing 10,000 sq ft unlet units, which meets the requirements of DSGi's plans to rollout their two-in-one mega store programme, comprising Currys and PC World brands in a combined single shop format.
The Landlord's works comprise stripping out the existing units and consolidating the 3 units into one larger unit, provision of upgraded services and rebuilding of the entire shopfront to suit the new single unit format.
Thurrock Retail Park, Lakeside
Redevelopment of existing retail units (total 67,329 sq ft). Works comprise the strip out of 2nr existing units and formation of 4nr new units, including new shopfronts and recladding to enhance existing fascia.
Other works included the provision of upgraded services and reconfiguration of external works and car parking layout to suit the revised unit layout. The works have been split into phases. Phase 2 is now complete with 3 units occupied by new tenants including GAP and Boots.
