Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd operate a total of 934 stores, comprising 557 supermarkets and 377 convenience stores. Project Description:
ESP Limited has been engaged on various Sainsbury's store projects for both new and existing sites including;
East Mayne Extension
Major 'back wall push' to increase the store sales area and which involved significant alterations to existing plant, plus new installations to suit the new store layout.
Letchworth Extension
Major extension of an existing store to increase the sales floor area, which included new services installations plus alteration and augmentation of existing systems.
Littlehampton Convenience Store
Fit-out of an existing retail shell to suit the convenience format, including all new mechanical and electrical services.
Local Stores
Four local stores in Bethnal Green, Farringdon, Worcester Park and Cheam. Each project comprised the fit-out of an existing retail shell to form a small format store, with all new mechanical and electrical services.
For each of the above projects ESP was responsible for the complete services consulting and design; including utility searches, applications, and the design and specifications.
