Project Description:
A phased office refurbishment, the works involved the general refurbishment, space improvement and maximisation of the existing office building footprint over a roll out programme of five phases of work of approximately 80 000 sq ft.
The existing tenants were briefed on a regular basis for Health and Safety reasons, where a good relationship was imperative to avoid delays to the programme.
Regular briefings were held with the tenants to update them with progress and establish their requirements.
Noisey work and all drilling activities were completed out-of-hours to minimise the environmental impact and disruption to tenants operations during the day.
Sustainability:
- Grey water recycling installed.
- Energy efficient M&E installations.
Key Challenges:
- The works to the common areas and toilets had to be phased in stages to avoid disruption to the occupying tenants.
