Peabody Trust - Kilburn High Road
The Peabody Group owns and manages more than 19,000 homes across the capital. They operate in London and manage a range of tenures including social housing; leasehold; shared ownership; supported housing; key-worker accommodation and commercial units.
Peabody also provides a range of community programmes for their residents and neighbourhoods, including employment and training programmes; health and well-being initiatives; activities for younger and older people; welfare benefits advice and financial inclusion and family support programmes.
Project Description:
The project comprised the construction of a two storey GP clinic and medical centre as part of a major residential project.
ESP was engaged for M&E design and consulting duties from feasibility stage through to project completion and client handover / training. As Peabody were constructing the clinic on behalf of the third party GP practice, it was necessary for ESP to fully consult with the GP team to ensure all aspects of their requirements were included.
The project was constructed to HTM specific high standards of quality and durability. The building included:
- 9no GP consulting rooms
- Treatment rooms
- Clinical rooms
- Library
- Staff areas
- Ablutions
- Offices and meeting areas
