Data Centre -Construction Management
Complex phasing of project in 'live' data centre with Client and Landlord issues dealt with by our team. Extension of data hall facility including new power intake, generator, air conditioning and fire suppression systems, plus associated plant area/room construction works.
Key Challenges:
- Significant planning issues and involvement with planning authority to gain approval for external plant.
- Extensive consultation required with London Underground for approvals, as the generator building was on the boundary of the Circle Line tube line.
Office Accommodation -Project Management, M&E Design and Consulting
Fit-out of 20,000 sq ft call-centre office accommodation over two floors. High density occupation with requirement for partitioning, alteration to air conditioning, lighting, plus new order installation. Consultation with One Tel internal departments in respect of services requirements. Consultation with Landlord in respect of approval for tenants fit-out design. Initial design scheme prepared for chilled beam ceiling to supplement central plant air displacement system.
