Project Descriptions:

Henry Riley is currently working closely with the London Diocesan Board for Schools on a number of primary and secondary education projects in the London area.

Twyford Church of England High School

Phased campus redevelopment including; Sixth Form Centre, courtyard infill, café development, science laboratories, IT suites, modern languages classrooms, maths classrooms, student services facilities and circulation modifications.

Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School

Holy Trinity operates on two sites adjacent to Sloane Square in Central London.

The initial phase focused on the creation of a nursery and early years' centre and the internal reorganisation of an existing 19th century building at Cadogan Gardens to create greater space and facilities.  The second phase created a new library extension and included total refurbishment of the school's Sedding Street site.

Both sites are bounded by roads, party walls and are located close to shallow underground train lines.

St Augustine's Church of England Primary School

This project involved the creation of a new two storey nursery building and children's centre. Extensive external works were carried out to provide an exciting and stimulating play area for the early years' provision.

This project was co-funded by the Diocese & Westminster City Council who operate the Children's Centre element of the building.

St Mary Abbots Church of England Primary School

A masterplan for the school has been created by NBF Partnership architects and Phase 1; comprising a new basement level kitchen, dining area and multi-purpose space, has recently been completed. The ongoing works involve significant internal modification of a listed building to provide additional teaching and circulation space in an extremely sensitive, complex and land locked central London site.

St Barnabas & Sir Philip Church of England Primary School

This is a school on a land locked central London site with two separate buildings and poor circulation space.  Current proposals include the inclusion of improved of circulation space, enhanced kitchen and dining facilities and an enclosed 'bridge' space linking the two buildings at first floor level.

These works comprise Phase 1 of a plan for the school which has been created by NBF Partnership architects.

St Clement Danes Church of England Primary School

This is a school on a land locked central London site with very poor vertical circulation.

Works have recently been completed which create a new reception area, new lift shaft and an extension to resolve problems with vertical circulation in this classic Victorian school.
