Logicalis UK is an International provider of integrated information and communications technology (ICT) solutions and services, founded on a superior breadth of knowledge and expertise in communications and collaboration; data centres; business analytics; video; professional and managed services; data centre hosting and cloud services.
Project Description:
The project comprised the construction of 2no 5,000 sq ft data halls together with internal and external plant areas, all constructed to meet and exceed the requirements of Tier 3 of The Uptime Institute with 2N electrical resilience.
The facility is highly secure from a system and physical perspective and is designed to accept 400no standard size racks at 4KW average IT electrical load.
Power is provided in a 4 string configuration, comprising 4no 2mVA package substations, 4no 2mVA standby generators and 4no 1mVA UPS systems.
Cooling was provided by 3no 1MW chillers in an N+1 configuration, providing dual water circuits to down flow units within the data halls.
