Hanover Housing Association - Darcy Gardens Extra Care Development

Hanover Housing Association is a leading specialist as a provider of retirement housing and related services. They manage almost 19,000 high quality mixed tenure Retirement and Extra Care properties on more than 600 estates and operate in over 175 local authority areas across England and Wales.
Project Description:
The Darcy Gardens development consists of a 36 nr. flat Extra Care scheme with associated communal facilities and 16 bungalows. The project was developed on a disused landlocked allotment site in Dagenham. The buildings are constructed in an art deco style and feature a number of sustainable technologies and initiatives. A challenging scheme to develop and project manage, it has proven to be a great success with the local community and residents.
