The Governors of Heathfield School - New Classroom Block
Heathfield School is an independent day school for boys and girls aged five to 16 years with its own on-site day nursery for babies from three months and a pre school facility for children of rising 3-4 years of age.
Project Description:
The works comprised the construction of a new single storey classroom block housing six classrooms, toilet and circulation areas, together with associated mechanical and electrical installations, external works and landscaping.
The building is of modern appearance with blockwork cavity walls with multi-coloured render, zinc roofing and a feature glazed entrance.
The building benefits from underfloor heating and PIR controlled lighting.
The scheme was tendered on traditional Bills of Quantities.
Further construction phases are likely to take place in the near future. The addition of a large drainage pumping chamber has been installed to the site within this contract, to accommodate for this future expansion.
