Caffè Nero Group Plc - New Build and Refurbishment Programme
Caffè Nero Group Ltd was founded in 1997 and is currently the largest independent coffee retailer in the UK, with over 400 stores in the UK. They also expanded into Turkey in 2007 and the Middle East in 2008.
Their aim is to provide a European style coffee house experience, offering premium espresso-based gourmet coffee, authentic Italian food products and a relaxing atmosphere in every store.
Project Description:
Caffè Nero is continuing a major expansion in the UK, with the intention of significantly increasing their current number of outlets in town centres, shopping precincts and airports.
ESP has assisted in this expansion with the completion of over 50 projects over a three year period.
The role often requires very close liaison with landlords, statutory authorities and airport authorities. The projects require very quick response and careful coordination to facilitate the demanding nature of the projects.
The projects are typically based on a five week programme, with fit-outs featuring:
- Air conditioning and ventilation
- Lighting and power
- Fire alarm and data services
- Wall and floor strengthening
- Complete redecoration
- New shop front
- New staircase
- New plant room
- Specialist joinery and equipment
- New external signage
- Extensive roof repairs
- Damp treatments
