Services: Building Services Design

ASDA is a British supermarket chain offering an excellent mix of fresh food, grocery, clothing, home, leisure and entertainment goods.  They have over 170,000 dedicated ASDA colleagues in more than 500 stores, 23 depots and 8 recycling centres across the country. 

 

Project Descriptions:

ESP Limited is one of just three ASDA Services Consultants appointed from a 2007 tender on a framework agreement for the ASDA new store, extension and remodel programme.

Duties included early feasibility studies, energy and sustainability studies and reports, liaison with Developers and Landlords, plus thermal modelling for Building Regulation Compliance, full design and consulting services for project implementation.

We work very closely with the ASDA Pre Development Team in relation to numerous new build schemes and the Engineering Team in relation to M&E Installations, design standards and energy initiatives.  We prepare our design drawings using REVIT which is the ASDA requirement for Building Information Modelling by the Design Team.
